Hello Tellman;

I love what you are doing here. I run a Christian moving business in Michigan our mission statement is about helping those that are in need. I have been looking a fifth charity to donate to, and I think you fit that bill. Other than this website is another way we can send donations that we receive from our customers to this cause?

Keep up the fantastic job. I am praying for your success.

Hi Tellman...I just started running. I am a 47 yr old mom of 5 and twins just 3 yrs ago. I have already lost 31 pounds. You are an inspiration. I would like to know if you are still running. This is May 2011. Thank you. God bless. Karen

Congrats Tellman !

Sub 7 min. miles is terrific.

Barefoot running is great. I've trained and even won races without shoes.

other times I've run barefoot by accident !

http://theathleteslawyer.com/cases/landau-runs-the-bike-rather-than-riding/

And just last week I did "Maccas" (a triathlete's bike-run interval brick workout) on a local turf soccer field without my sneakers.

While I avoid pavement, concrete & wear the vibrams "5-toe shoes" when I don't know if there's glass, nails, etc., it just FEELS more natural when I run without built up running shoes. Even the shoes I wear to for triathlons, duathlons, road running races & track meets have been "trimmed down" such that there is minimal heel. Wishing you success with your training, travel & racing. doug

APRIL 14, 2010 ESTime 2:45PM

Dear Tellman,

When is this RUN going to be over
I certainly miss you. How are your FEET
holding up? Dear God. I hope they are doing okay.

Tellman, please think this over I would
really appreciate being able to travel to
Vermont to visit with you and leave knowing
how to get the BEST out of the INTERNET.
Are there hotels, Inns, Convents etc near
you? I would fly into Vermont and stay at
a nearby Hotel. You think of it and let me
know if your schedule would allow it.

Josh, has been doing very well for
you in your absence. He is always sending
things out to us and he certainly reads
very FAST.

God bless you and your family for
all that you do for others. Those Home-
less kids will do so well...THANKS
TO YOU.

Many prayers and Mass every day
for you.
                         Fondly,
                      "CONNIE"

While I wish you successI do have a few questions

1. $100 million is an awful lot. Completely impossible if it's coming from people and not the govt. Why not set a reasonable goal? Similar walks across the US for charity typically raise $50,000

2. Where is the total on this site for how much has been raised? I would definitely want to know if I were donating.

3. Why barefoot? A lot of people have walked/run across the US. Barefoot you are only taking the risk of hurting yourself long term. Pavement is not like grass.

Anyway, the cause and your efforts are very admirable and I wish you success.
