YEAH! made it onto Channel 16 Newswatch here in the Susquehanna Valley last night. big thanks to the team at WNEP for helping us spread the word about RunTellmanRun.
the reporter pronounced my name reggae-style, “Tell-a-mon”, which is pretty funny. and the anchor calls me a barefoot walker, right before a bunch of footage of me running. maybe i should start power walking and throw some dreadlocks in my hair.
oh and one more thing: SHAVE BEN’S BEARD!

To do what your doing, you would have to have a hard outer shell, but be soft and great inside!

you rock! I am up in Toronto Canada and get your stuff and am blown away by your commitment to helping others in need and not just taking about it. You do it and that inspires me and my guess is it inspires hundreds or thousands of others that hear about you. My wife and 5 year old are going to drive down to Toledo to meet up with you so show our respects, donate and help in any way we can for a day. It’s an 8 hour drive but i’ve pissed away 8 hours before on nothing. this is the real deal. Thank you and see you when you get to Toledo.

Hello Tellman!! I am really happy that i had the pleasure of shaking your hand and donating something. It was good you received media coverage for your cause. But i have to say that these days the media seems to lack the proper observation skills(and caring) that journalists and anchors used to have. Reporters that lack observation skills. What irony. The flip side to their mistake; even if you were walking the distance, it is something nobody else is would attempt to do barefoot. You truly are an amazing individual.

Glad to see you in good spirit but be warned the mid west has alot of gravel on the side of the roads, yeah PA sucks for vehicles and runners but the mid west rocks will pose a challenge.Get you ass to MO , I will sweep your path , that is not a joke ( maybe will be you first broom escort ) when you get closer I will call the # you are publicly posting .I got gifts for you and donations from St Clair , MO businesses – I will sweep your path in my town / already got you a police escort – anything to keep those feet moving
