the “Shirley and Donna” lunch special

Shirley Fierro of the Washington City Mission brought me lunch on the road!

lunch on the road for me typically consists of energy gels and chia seeds. they keep me chugging along, but the taste is… let’s just say i don’t crave strawberry-flavored electrolyte goo.

that’s why i was so psyched when Shirley and Donna, two lovely ladies from the Washington City Mission, came out to meet me on Rte. 136 the other day with a bagged lunch in hand. in it was a sandwich, some chips and a homemade slice of cake. man, was it scrumptious.

Shirley and Donna are exemplary citizens. not just because they delivered lunch, but because they are an integral part of an organization that provides critically needed goods and services to the homeless, poor, and needy of Western Pennsylvania.

the Washington City Mission provided shelter to over 500 people last year alone. over 25 of them were children. last month the Mission served over 10,000 meals to needy citizens.

still, the number of beds and amount of food is not enough. Shirley and Donna are overwhelmed, and their Mission has to turn people away regularly due to lack of resources.

c’mon, let’s help Shirley and Donna so they can help every single person who comes to their doorstep. people shouldn’t be turned back onto the street, not knowing where they’re going to sleep that night.

please donate $10 right now if you can – just hit the red Donate button below. we don’t want children sleeping on the street one more night.

Tellman, I hope you don’t mind. I would like to bring this book into FOCUS. I am not getting any money, but last week this information
came up on my computer. CANCER patients are very close to my
HEART. Since 1996 until 2007, I “LIVED-IN” 24/7 with close to 80
terminally-ill CANCER patients, until they went to GOD.

Tellman, how are your FEET? Are you looking for a FOOT CLINIC every once in a while. I’m passing that job on to your BUDDY
that is doing so much already for you and the HOMELESS CHILDREN.
Please consider asking someone at home, to plead from the
AMERICAN people to donate $1.00 in Thanksgiving that their children
were never on the streets of being HOMELESS. Perhaps have someone put out on your LIST-BUILDING asking them to reach out to
others not on the INTERNET MARKETING to donate.
Whatever, take care of your feet. Tellman, offer every foot step
as a prayer, that this program will be a HUGE SUCCESS. I know GOD
loves you and will certainly bless you, your driver, and your families.
