I spend a lot of time on my iPhone. Too much time, most would say. My Motorola Bluetooth Active is always in my ears when I’m out running.
I’m reaching out to you guys – to anyone who may be reading this – to see if anyone knows of any iPhone apps that expedite donations to non-profits. So many people have iPhones, and the Droid is taking off as well, that I think it’s an excellent way to reach the wired world. I thought it was brilliant the way people could text a $10 donation to help the victims of the Haitian earthquake.
How ’bout it? Do you know of any examples of philanthropic iPhone or Droid apps? My hope is that we can eventually get something like this going for RunTellmanRun, but I want to put out some feelers and get some insight from y’all. You guys have come up with some brilliant suggestions in the past and I appreciate the help.
Now, where’s my Motorola Bluetooth Active?…
P.S. While we may not have “text to donate” capabilities, you can quickly and easily donate $10 to help homeless youth in America by going to http://www.runtellmanrun.com/donate. Thanks.
