I had the weirdest dream the other night.
I dreamed that Luke and I were driving along the interstate in a Kia Rondo. We were driving from Vermont to West Virginia to meet up with some crazy dude who was running barefoot across America to raise money for homeless youth. Hootie and the Blowfish kept playing on the radio. We hurtled west in that Kia Rondo for about 13 hours.
Once we arrived at our destination, Miss West Virginia was waiting for us, wearing her tiara and everything. Chuck was there, and Dean too.
Wait a minute… that wasn’t a dream. That really happened! The Rondo, Miss WV, Chuck and Dean, it was all just another day on the road with RunTellmanRun. Wow.
I’m going back to bed.

P.S. The youth homelessness problem in America is not a dream, however. Good kids with real problems are alone on the street with no place to sleep. The good news is that $35 can get a kid warm bedding at a shelter like Covenant House in New York. For a kid who has slept in an alleyway, a bed with clean sheets and a warm blanket is a truly precious gift. Please go to http://www.runtellmanrun.com/donate and donate $35 right now.

Ben Ben Ben…
Hootie and The Blowfish…
The roots in your serenity garden run deeper than I thought. I am somewhat disturbed but fascinated.
