The Tellma-Thon commences at 9pm EST tonight!
Join me , Tellman, and Kim Wood, the director at Stepping Stone youth shelter in State College, Pennsylvania, for a celebratory phone call. Residents of the shelter will be listening in as we discuss plans to renovate their kitchen, as well as the sister shelter’s kitchen next door.
Register for the call right now at http://runtellmanrun.com/steppingstone/tell-a-thon.html. And hey, don’t be bashful, you’ll have a chance to speak too.
Back At It
My heel is finally healed up to the point where I’m back out training. I’ve been out twice in the last few days in my Vibram FiveFingers (thank GOODNESS for the FiveFingers – they’re perfect for training while keeping my heel safe). Josh and I went for half-hour runs around Brattleboro and it feels so awesome. My mind and body are alive again!
SHABAMBO!
-Tellman
P.S. We ain’t stopping at the kitchen! Donate now to RunTellmanRun so we can continue to help shelters like Stepping Stone. Just go to http://tellman.org/donate-online/.

Hi Tellman,
First, love the Flash belt buckle in your video.
I got to talk to you on the Tellma-Thon call! I was the one rambling about crowdsourcing and long tail “buying frenzies”.
I’m just like you–I have shiny object syndrome and come up with a million ideas a minute.
After the call, I started brainstorming on ways to raise money, and I came up with an idea that I’m really excited about. It’s not something that can be implemented overnight, but I’m hopeful that it can help raise a bunch of money.
Rather than write an entire novel in this comment, I think I will try my hand at making a simple powerpoint style video to share my idea with you. Look for it in the next couple of days.
Until then, keep doing what you’re doing, because what you’re doing is totally awesome!

It’s about time that someone got Tellman to wear footgear…As I’ve said before at least 2x(I am aPhysical Therapist), he should wear the Vibram footgear for THE REST of the journey ‘cross country.
There is no glory in not finishing the run due to what will inevitably happen again/raw, finished feet.
