’bout to head out for a chiropractor appointment here in Morristown, NJ. chuck has been stretching my limbs with amazing vitality, but sometimes you need a good back cracking to get everything in line, ya know? i don’t know what those chiropractors do exactly, or how they learned to do it, but it’s magic.
just finished up a solid 10 miles and ended in Mendham, NJ. i’m headed back out again this afternoon to add another 5 or 6 to the total mileage, which is sitting at a cool 62 right now. give me a honk if you see me on Rte. 24. i hope kanye doesn’t bust in on my run this afternoon and shout “Beyonce is the best barefoot runner of all time!” i’d throw my smoothie at him.
sara banged out a few more videos from days 3 and 4 of the run – check ‘em out below. while you’re at it, do yourself a favor and subscribe to the RunTellmanRun YouTube channel. then keep up to date with tons of bonus footage that doesn’t make it here on the blog. for instance, wanna see footage of a long-haired weirdo rollerblading like a ninja?

great stick 3 it do not run on too hard of surfaces like roads, footpaths dark sunnglasses proyect your eyes take care. chrissypink.
Oops Tellman, Ben’s wild idea to spray your feet with WD-40..??? I wonder how that will work out for you. I mean that stuff is meant to lubricate iron hinges and to make electric wiring water resistant e.g. I use it quite often on my motorbike and accidentally spray sometimes not only the object that needs to be sprayed, but also my hands. It makes my hands feel slippery and I can imagine that the upper skin will dissolve. I don’t think that stuff will do any good to make your feet waterproof, I’m sure your team will try it on someone else’s feet first. If it ruins your feet, the whole project will be in jeopardy. I doubt that there is something on the market to waterproof your feet. You could create some translucent socks from some secret NASA stuff, who knows? But then it’s no longer bare foot running of course (only from a distance it might look that way, just like the girl “without” undies) LOL
I wish you all the best of luck!!!

Hmmm… why does Vaseline and wet pavement not seem like a good match to me? Sounds a wee bit slippery. But alas, I’m sure you will come up with the right solution. You and your crew are very resourceful. In the meantime, know that we are proud of you and what you have accomplished so far.
